Officers from the Yorktown Police Department were dispatched to a local residence, where there was a report of a potential violation of a Temporary Order of Protection.
According to police, investigators determined that on May 22 and May 23, Peekskill resident Juan Pablo Nauta went through the home of his victim multiple times, violating the Order of Protection.
On Tuesday, June 5, Nauta surrendered himself into police custody at the Yorktown Police Department, where he was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt, both misdemeanors.
Following arraignment, Nauta was released on his own recognizance and he is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on June 26 to answer the charges.
